INGREDIENTS
- 12 mini slider buns or dinner rolls
- 12 slices of cooked ham
- 6 slices of your favorite cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or any other melting cheese)
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray or additional butter for greasing
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping them connected to each other.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, Dijon mustard, honey, poppy seeds (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well to make the flavorful sauce.
Place the bottom halves of the slider buns in a baking dish or on a baking sheet, greasing it lightly with cooking spray or butter.
Brush the sauce mixture generously over the bottom halves of the slider buns.
Layer each slider bun with a slice of cooked ham and half a slice of cheese.
Place the top halves of the slider buns over the ham and cheese to complete the sliders.
Brush the remaining sauce mixture over the top of the sliders.
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, and the sliders are heated through.
Remove the foil and let the sliders bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the tops are slightly toasted.
Serve the Mini Ham and Cheese Sliders warm as a delectable appetizer or snack.
