INGREDIENTS
- 1 teaspoon matcha green tea powder
- 1 cup hot water (175°F or 80°C)

INSTRUCTIONS

- Heat water to about 175°F (80°C), just below boiling.

- Use a bamboo whisk or small whisk to whisk the matcha vigorously in a “W” or “M” motion until it forms a smooth, frothy consistency.
- Gradually add the remaining hot water (about 6 ounces), continuing to whisk until well combined.
- If desired, add a sweetener of your choice and stir until dissolved.
- Pour the matcha green tea into a cup and enjoy immediately.
