BROCCOLI PARATHA RECIPE
Broccoli Paratha is a delicious and healthy Indian flatbread made with a flavorful stuffing of finely chopped broccoli and spices. It’s a great way to incorporate the goodness of broccoli into your diet.
To make Broccoli Paratha, the dough is prepared using whole wheat flour, water, and salt. The dough is rested for a while to allow it to become soft and pliable.
For the stuffing, broccoli florets are blanched and finely chopped. They are then mixed with finely chopped onion, green chilies, ginger paste, and a blend of spices such as cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. The spices add a delicious flavor to the stuffing mixture.
The dough is divided into small balls, and each ball is rolled out into a small disc. A portion of the broccoli stuffing is placed in the center of the disc, and the edges are brought together to seal it. The stuffed ball is then flattened and rolled out into a circular paratha.
The paratha is cooked on a tawa or griddle with ghee or oil until it becomes golden brown and crispy on both sides. The process is repeated with the remaining dough and stuffing to make more parathas.
Broccoli Paratha can be served hot with yogurt, pickle, or chutney. It makes for a nutritious and flavorful meal or snack option, packed with the goodness of broccoli and the benefits of whole wheat flour.
This dish is rich in fiber, vitamins, and minerals from the broccoli, and provides carbohydrates from the whole wheat flour. It’s a great way to enjoy a tasty and wholesome meal while incorporating the nutritional benefits of broccoli into your diet.
