- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon oil

INSTRUCTIONS
- In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, grated beetroot, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, garam masala (if using), salt, and oil. Mix well.
- Gradually add water and knead the mixture into a soft dough. Add water as needed to achieve the desired consistency. Let the dough rest for 15-20 minutes to allow it to become more pliable.

- Take one dough ball and flatten it with your hands. Dust it with some flour and roll it out into a circular disc of medium thickness.
- Heat a griddle or tawa over medium heat. Once hot, place the rolled paratha on it.
- Cook one side for a minute until small bubbles start to form on the surface. Flip the paratha and cook the other side.
- Apply ghee or oil on both sides and cook until the paratha turns golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the cooked paratha from the griddle and repeat the process with the remaining dough balls.
- Serve the Beetroot Parathas hot with yogurt, pickle, or any side dish of your choice.
