INSTRUCTIONS
In a pan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds. Allow them to splutter.
Add the chopped onion and green chilies. Sauté until the onion turns translucent.
Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute until fragrant.
Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften.
Add the turmeric powder, red chili powder, ground coriander, and salt. Mix well.
Add the chopped spinach and thawed peas. Cook until the spinach wilts and the peas are tender.
Add the rolled oats and garam masala. Mix everything well to coat the oats with the masala.
Pour water into the pan to cover the oats mixture. Stir well and let it cook on low heat, stirring occasionally, until the oats are cooked and have absorbed the flavors. Add more water if needed.
Once the oats are cooked, adjust the seasoning if needed.
